Our Story
What started as a small operation has grown into a trusted name in facility management across Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta. Jose founded Empire on a simple belief: that hard work, integrity, and genuine care for clients and employees creates partnerships that last. That belief still drives everything we do.
EFM Cleaning Throughout the Years
- Empire Facility Management was officially Incorporated
- Started with floor care
- Carpet, strip and wax, Etc.
- Ran out of a basement
- Monthly Cleaning was introduced in offices only
- Obtained the first truck
- Moved into a warehouse in Bloomingdale
- Introduced Monthly Cleaning for Commercial and Industrials industry
- Internal Expansion was completed
- Formal Office was created and hired the first in office personnel in Victoria
- 2 new Trucks
- Introduced Food Plant Sanitation to Empire’s Services
- Massive expansion in the Tri-City (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge)
- Hired more personnel to support the expansion
- Purchased and moved office to the St. Clements Location
- New Division EGI Supplies division was created
